We often get asked, “What is the deal with the shoes?” Romans 10:15 says, “and how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” To us the shoes (which have been worn at EVERY NOT ASHAMED concert over the past 15 years) represent all off us. See, it’s not about the people on stage, it is about all of us together preaching the Gospel to a lost and dying world. Those shoes represent you as much as they represent us! That is why on the back of every shirt there is a Scripture and a link to where people can hear the Gospel in a cool, understandable way! We understand that the printing on the back makes the shirt cost a little more, but we have heard so many testimonies of how wearing them in public started conversations in a grocery store line, or park that led to the Gospel being shared and changed lives, that we feel it is imperative to have it there!

Our new single “In Spirit and Truth” is out now and receiving radio play and rave reviews! If you are hosting a charity event we can occasionally make special provision for that as well. It’s a story about how we all fight that negative cycle of condemnation and temptation from the enemy and how to break out and overcome it through the power of Christ. NOTE: This is the first time we ever practiced this song, but we thought it had some good energy (and more importantly a good message) so we set up a couple cell phone cameras (including one we gave to our drummers 8 year old son Cooper – who did some very interesting camera work) and here’s what happened! |
